Decimal Alarm
Bit Value Type Alarm Condition / Description and Suggested Corrective Action
4 16 Warning w: Cal gas pressure range
The calibration gas pressure is outside of 1 % to 99 % of full-scale range.
Note: This alarm is used only by analyzers equipped with the optional
pressure transducer.
Corrective Action:
• Check the regulator on the calibration gas cylinder and ensure it has an
adequate supply.
• Check the Calibration gas pressure gauge and ensure it is at an appropriate
level, as recommended on system drawings. The pressure must be less than
the 1380 kPag (200 psig) maximum Cell Pressure.
• From the Output Setup dialog box, conrm the calibration gas Low Scale and
High Scale pressure settings are correct.
• Check the zero solenoid (on backpan).
Take appropriate safety precautions, open the Lower Enclosure, and:
• Check the pressure transducer.
• Conrm that the pressure transducer jumpers on the Customer I/O board are
congured correctly. See “Cell/Miscellaneous (Compensation) Parameters” in
Chapter 4.
• Replace the Customer I/O board. Contact AMETEK to verify operation
before removing this board.
5 32 Warning w: Sample gas pressure range
The sample gas pressure is above 99 % of the full-scale range.
Note: This alarm is used only by analyzers equipped with the optional
pressure transducer.
Corrective Action:
• Check the sample gas pressure gauge and ensure it is at an appropriate ow
and pressure, as recommended on system drawings.
• From the Output Setup dialog box, conrm the sample gas Low Scale and
High Scale pressure settings are correct.
Take appropriate safety precautions, open the Lower Enclosure, and:
• Check the pressure transducer.
• Conrm that the pressure transducer jumpers on the Customer I/O board are
congured correctly. See “Cell/Miscellaneous (Compensation) Parameters” in
Chapter 4.
