Maintenance and Troubleshooting | 6-7
Changing Out Replaceable Parts
The following sections discuss parts that should be replaced, as per the
Analyzer Preventive Maintenance Schedule.”
Preventing leaks in the sample system is critical to proper analyzer
operation. If sample gas migrates into the Reflector Block or Optical
Bench (uncommon) due to a leak in the Measuring Cell, the optics
will become damaged and most likely require replacement. Most
leaks are preventable with regular cleaning and replacement of the
Measuring Cell o-rings.
IMPORTANT
Performing preventive maintenance on the analyzer requires using
the System 200 Configurator Software. Familiarize yourself with the
software before working on the analyzer. See Chapter 4 for details on
how to navigate through the software.
Measuring Cell Maintenance
This procedure discusses a Standard Range (40 cm) unheated Measuring
Cell (Figure 6-2). Other types of Measuring Cells are discussed in Manual
Supplements shipped with the analyzer. Refer to those Supplements for
specific cleaning information.
Replace/clean parts in the Measuring Cell:
