2.1 Intended use
The blast chillers are solely and exclusively intended for blast freezing food at the temperatures
indicated in Table 1 (Technical data - Section 9)
All food must be placed in the blast chillers only using containers suitable for contact with food,
with low edges, and resistant to low temperatures. Do not cover the trays and containers with
lids or insulating films; the larger the surface of the food exposed to contact with cold air, the
shorter the cooling times.
The blast chillers are designed for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY. These blast chillers are
intended for use in restaurants, bars, food shops, etc.
The appliance only operates in complete safety when it is used according to its intended use.
2.2 Improper and incorrect use
Use of the appliance for different purposes from its intended use is forbidden, and will be consid-
ered an improper and incorrect use, not compliant with its intended use.
No claims may be made towards the manufacturer and/or its representatives for damages arising
as a result of use of the appliance which does not comply with the intended use. The user is solely
responsible for damages caused during use of the appliance which does not comply with the in-
tended use.
The appliance was designed to be used within the temperature and humidity ranges indicated in
Table 2 (Technical data - Section 9). Use of the appliance at a temperature and/or humidity level
outside the specified range can result in unexpected operational anomalies and faults.
ATTENTION! The appliance is not suitable for use in environments such as phar-
macies, hospitals, analysis laboratories, etc., i.e. in all those applications that re-
quire dual temperature control, power supply alarms, and recording temperature
variation over time.
Any use of the appliance other than its intended use is absolutely prohibited, as is any tampering.
Above all, please note that:
 It is forbidden to use the appliance if you are not authorized and adequately trained operators;
 It is forbidden to use the appliance in a different way than that for which it was designed, as
well as that described in this manual;
 It is forbidden to use the appliance without the protections provided for each process, as well
as to eliminate parts of them (if present, it is forbidden to disassemble the fixed and movable
guards, as well as to bypass the safety micro switches);
 It is forbidden to make changes to the appliance;
 It is forbidden to allow children, pets or anyone unauthorized to be present in the work and
use area of the appliance;
 It is forbidden to use the appliance outside the authorized environments;
 It is forbidden, in the case of appliance with moving parts, to use it wearing personal items that
can cause serious injuries (for example, watches, ties, bracelets, rings, etc.) favouring the risk
of dragging the user;
 It is forbidden to introduce materials other than those intended for its normal use into the
appliance;
 It is forbidden to use the appliance outdoors.
