WARNING! Risk of burns!
During normal use, the surface of the compressor can become very hot. Never touch
the compressor with your bare hands.
WARNING!
The appliance is not designed to be cleaned:
With a jet of water;
With a jet of high pressure water;
By immersing it or its parts in water or any other liquid.
6.2 Cleaning the appliance
The appliance must be cleaned regularly:
Clean the inside of the appliance at the end of each working day;
Clean all parts of the appliance with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a neutral and deli-
cate detergent. Carefully dry everything after cleaning;
A plastic spatula may be used if necessary or in the case of particularly stubborn dirt. The use
of metal tools is not recommended;
Only use clean water to moisten the cloth or sponge for cleaning;
Do no use abrasive detergents, such as, for example, abrasive powders, agents containing al-
cohol, bleach, diluents, etc. which could damage plastic parts, painted parts or components
made of stainless steel;
After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth for drying the surfaces. Check that all the parts are perfectly
dry before restarting the appliance;
Clean the condenser located behind the front ventilation grid at least once a week or in any
case when necessary. Before cleaning, close and protect the equipment, then remove the dust
that has deposited on the front of the condenser with a vacuum cleaner and a brush;
The work area surrounding the appliance must also be clean and free of dust. It is advisable to
clean the workstation, especially the appliance support surface, before using it, and at the end
of use/day.
6.3 Servicing
Periodic maintenance is essential to obtain and maintain the best performance and
safe operation of the appliance. The operator can perform the following maintenance
operations:
Check the appliance’s general conditions;
Check that the appliance does not emit any unusual noises or smells;
Cleaning the appliance: follow the instructions in paragraph 6.2 - Cleaning the appliance;
Periodically check the condition of the power supply cable. Do not use the appliance if the cable
is damaged. If the cable is damaged, have it replaced by the dealer or by a qualified technician;
Check the water level in the water collection tray, and empty the tray (if necessary, ABT30A
model excluded);
Clean the condenser (see paragraph 6.2 - Cleaning the appliance);
Checking the safety devices. At least once a day, before using the appliance, carry out a visual
inspection to verify the integrity of the safety devices and protections, if any. Also perform a
functional test of the safety devices and the start and stop elements of the appliance (by way
of example, check the correct operation of the safety micro switches, if any);
