4. Environmental notes
The appliance has been designed for use in an environment at a temperature between +15 °C and
+38 °C and a relative humidity between 30% and 55%.
Use of the appliance at a different temperature and/or humidity can result in unexpected operating
anomalies and faults of the appliance, as well as a slight decrease in its performance.
4.1 Packaging
The appliance is contained in packaging composed of a pallet, a cardboard box, wood and plastic
film. The weights and dimensions are indicated in Table 1 - Section 9.
For disposal, refer to the legislation in force in the country of installation.
We remind you that the packaging can be useful for storing the appliance, during a move or for
shipping the appliance for repair or maintenance to the retailer or manufacturer. The presence of
all the original packaging is essential if a request is made for replacement or repairs under the appli-
ances warranty. Remove all internal and external packaging material before starting the appliance.
4.2 Storage
The packaging must be kept closed until the moment the appliance is installed, and the positioning
and storage markings on the packaging must be respected during storage.
The packaged appliance must always be stored in the following conditions:
Do not store outdoors;
Store in a dry place, protecting it from dust and keep it at a temperature of between 0 °C and
+50 °C and a relative humidity of between 30% and 80%;
Do not expose to aggressive agents;
Protect from sunlight;
Avoid impacts;
If stored for a prolonged period of time (more than three months), regularly check the condi-
tion of all the packaging.
4.3 Disposal
The appliance falls within the scope of Directive 2012/19/EU on the management of Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). For the disposal of the appliance, as it is made up of materials that
can be recycled at the appropriate facilities, it is necessary to make sure to entrust it to specialized
companies for both the transport and the treatment of waste. For this purpose, it is necessary to search
for companies capable of receiving the appliance for disposal and its subsequent proper recycling.
The appliance is not potentially dangerous for human health and the environment, as it does not
contain harmful substances as per Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), but if abandoned in the
environment it has a negative impact on the ecosystem.
The crossed-out bin symbol shown alongside, and present on the label placed on the
appliance, indicates the compliance of this product with the legislation relating to Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). To abandon the appliance in the environ-
ment or its illegal disposal are punishable by law.
WARNING!
To avoid any unauthorized use and the related risks, ensure that the appliance cannot be reac-
tivated before disposing of it. To do this, the appliance must be disconnected from the power
supply and the power supply cable must be cut.
