2.7.2 Drive and reverse drive
Before moving o, check that the articulation joint of the machine is locked.
Use the warning horn to signal that the engine is starting and wait long enough so that all persons could leave the area
around the machine or under the machine in time!
Before moving o, check that the area in front of and behind the machine is empty and that there are no persons or
obstructions there!
The operator must not control the machine from the ground. If he did so anyway and is not sitting on the seat when
the travel control is moved from the parking brake position (P), the machine does not disengage the brake and will not
move, and after 5 seconds the engine will be stopped.
The operator must not leave the operator seat when operating the machine. If he does so anyway and leaves the seat
when the travel control is in deected form the parking brake position (P), the machine behaves according to the seat
switch description (Chapter 2.6).
Start the engine
Start the engine according to Chapter 2.7.1.
The engine speed control (3) must be in its lower position.
Selection of the working engine speed
The machine is provided with two working speed positions.
Small working speed: Set the control to the position I (85%).
Big working speed: Set the control to the position II (100%).
Small working speed:
85% travel speed (depending on the transport and working speed change-over switch)
85% engine speed
Big working speed:
100% travel speed (depending on the transport and working speed change-over switch)
100% engine speed
