The qTOWER³ is not limited to specific detection reagents or the plastic products of a
specific manufacturer. Optical plastic products in the formats 0.2 ml tubes, 8 well strips
with optical lids or 96 well micro titer plates can be used.
To avoid condensation or potential sample loss, the qTOWER³ is equipped with a mo-
torized heated lid. This can be adjusted up to 110 °C and guarantees an optimum con-
tact pressure on the sample vessels during the entire real-time PCR run process irre-
spective of the consumables used.
