THE APPLICATION MUST THEN BE RESTARTED BEFORE THE MECHELLE SYSTEM CAN BE USED.
After the system restarts, the Solis splash screen will appear followed by the Main Window again.
On the Main Window, click the
button and the Setup acquisition dialog box will appear.
Select the required parameters then click OK.
Following restart of the Application, select the appropriate detector acquisition parameters in Setup CCD (for iStar
CCD or iKon platforms) or on the real-time control interface (for iStar sCMOS). For details on how to setup the different
acquisition parameters of detectors that can be coupled to Mechelle, please refer to the relevant user guide for either
iStar CCD, iStar sCMOS or iKon CCD.
NOTE: The CCD should also be cooled at this point. The camera and software guides provide full details of how
data can be acquired and manipulated.
If light coupling conguration to the Mechelle is done through a bre, please ensure that the bre optic is
secured to the Mechelle SMA/FC adapter (itself securely secured in the Mechelle input housing).
