The following gure shows the signal from a QTH lamp after applying the relative efciency correction. It is clear that
there are very large noise levels at the lower wavelengths (200 - 350 nm). This is caused by a lack of signal from the light
source.
This part of the wavelength can be removed by changing the usable wavelength range in the relative efciency
correction. This can be done by following the procedure shown on the next page.
