Circular technique
• Planarize the rim of a lesion (e.g. acne scar) using overlap technique
• Mop debris up
• Continue treatment until desired ablation effect is achieved
• Stop capillary bleeding if necessary
Paintbrush technique:
• Paintbrushing can be used to handle ex-
tended, area-like lesions (e.g. lentigines)
• Important: clear debris away from time to
time for better visual tracking of results
• Continue treatment until desired ablation
effect is achieved. Stop capillary bleeding if
necessary.
Single-spot technique:
• Single-spot technique is intended for treatment of point lesions
• Important: mop debris up from time to time until desired amount of
ablation is achieved
• Stop capillary bleeding if necessary
Overlap technique:
• Use overlap technique to smoothen the rims of a lesion (e.g. wrinkles)
• Mop debris up from time to time
• Continue treatment until desired result is achieved
• Stop capillary bleeding if necessary
