Turn DTAD intercept on or off
If you want other phones connected to line 1 on this
extension to be able to pick up a call while the caller is
recording a message, turn DTAD intercept on. For
instructions to use this feature, see Intercept an
incoming message on page 105.
1. Press E to begin feature setup.
2. Press - until the screen display includes
DTAD/AA.
3. Press E. The screen display includes
ANSWERxSTATUS.
4. Press - until the screen display includes
DTADxINTERCEPT and the current setting.
5. Press < or > to toggle between Off and On.
When the correct setting is shown, press - to
save your choice. The screen display includes
MAINxMENU.
6. Press and hold E to return to the idle
screen.

NOTE: You can exit feature setup and return to the
idle screen any time. Simply press and hold E.
