Answering system
Message playback
To listen to messages at the telephone base:
Press
/PLAY/STOP. Press /PLAY/STOP again to end the message
playback.
f If there are new and old messages, press TCID or SDIR to select Play new
msgs or Play old msgs, then press
MENU/SELECT or /PLAY/STOP.
f If there are only new or only old messages, they will play automatically.
To listen to messages on a cordless handset:
1. When the handset is in idle mode, press MENU/
SELECT to enter the main menu.
2. Press
MENU/SELECT again to select Play messages.
f If there are new and old messages, press TCID or SDIR to select Play new
msgs or Play old msgs, then press
MENU/SELECT.
f If there are only new or only old messages, they will play automatically.
Options during playback
When messages are playing on the telephone base:
f Press T/VOL/S to adjust the message playback volume.
f Press /SKIP to skip to the next message.
f Press /REPEAT to repeat the message. Press twice to hear the previous
message.
f Press MUTE/DELETE to delete the message.
f Press /PLAY/STOP to stop playback.
f Press /SPEAKER to stop playback. The screen shows Call back?, then
press
MENU/SELECT, or /SPEAKER to call back the caller if the caller’s
number is available. If the dialing format used is not correct, then use the
option, as mentioned below, to choose the correct dialing format before
calling back the caller.
f Press MENU/SELECT to pause playback and show the caller ID information,
if available. From here, you can press # (pound key) repeatedly to show the
desired dialing option, then press
/SPEAKER to call back the caller. You
can also press CANCEL
to resume playback. If you do not call back within ten
seconds, message playback resumes automatically.
