S YSTEM C ONFIGURATION
The WebUI allows you to configure Syn248 devices and the Syn248 system. The WebUI
is embedded in every SB35010 Gateway and Deskset. When you access the WebUI, you
are accessing it on the device, not on the Internet.
This chapter shows you how to access the WebUI, then guides you through the settings
you may have to configure to commission or to customize a Syn248 system.
This chapter also covers device management using the WebUI. As the system
administrator, you will use the WebUI to delete devices from the system, change
extension numbers, back up your settings, and upgrade devices.

After completing the configuration of the system, back up the system settings.
