2.4 Power Supply Requirements
Power supplies with 500-Watt capacity and 30A current on 12V rail is
recommended for single ATI Radeon™ HD 3800 series product.
ATI Radeon™ HD 3800 CrossFire configurations (dual graphics card
system) requires 550-Watt capacity power supply, with 38A on 12V rail.
Please consult your power supply vendor specifications to ensure your
system meets the recommended functionality. CrossFire™ configurations
require a CrossFire™ compliant motherboard, which includes two
physical x16 PCI Express® slot interfaces.
2.4.1 Additional Power Connection Requirements
Note:
• use power supply 6-pin cable (note, power supply cable is 6-wire, not
3-wire)
1. The ATI Radeon™ HD 3800 series must be connected to the
computer’s power supply.
