5.1 OSD unit
Oil/condensate separators
Compressed air leaving oil-injected compressors contains oil. During cooling of this air, oil-containing
condensate is formed. OSD are designed to separate the major part of this oil from the condensate and to catch
the oil in a collector. The condensate meets the requirements of the environmental codes.
