6.2.1 Alarm overview Lc1001™
Following LEDs are used on the Lc1001™:
Never perform a test run with
connected power cables. Never
touch an electrical connector
without a voltage check.
When a failure occurs, always
report what you experienced before,
during and after the failure.
Information with regard to the load
(type, size, power factor, etc.),
vibrations, exhaust gas colour,
insulation check, odours, output
voltage, leaks and damaged parts,
ambient temperature, daily and
normal maintenance and altitude
might be helpful to quickly locate
the problem. Also report any
information regarding the humidity
and location of the light tower (e.g.
close to sea).
1 Overspeed The engine speed has risen above
the over speed pre alarm setting.
2Alarm
conditions
An external alarm condition has
occurred. E.g. Fail to Start.
3

pressure
The controller detects that the
engine oil pressure has fallen
below the low oil pressure pre-
alarm setting level after the
Safety On timer has expired.
4Battery
under/over
voltage
The auxiliary charge alternator
voltage is low as measured from
the W/L terminal.
