WARNING
If the unit seems to be defective, indicate on the unit that it is out of order, stop using it immediately,
and contact your local Atom representative.
Check the following points before requesting repair service.
CAUTION
Trouble Action to take
Nothing is displayed on the opera-
tion panel when the power switch
is turned on, and the power failure
alarm activates.
Check the breaker of the unit.•
Check that the unit is connected securely to the power source.•
Check the breaker of the hospital (by connecting another electric •
device to the power outlet used for the unit).
The temperature on the mattress
does not rise.
Check that the heater output is not set too low.•
Check that the supply voltage is not low. (The unit should not share a •
power outlet with another device.)
Check that the ambient temperature is not low. (The ambient tempera-•
ture should be 20~30°C or so.)
The temperature on the mattress
rises too high.
Check that the heater output is not set too high.•
Check that the unit is not exposed to direct sunlight or affected by a •
heating apparatus nearby.
The temperature on the mattress
does not stabilize.
Check that the ambient temperature is stable. (The ambient tempera-•
ture should be 20~30°C or so.)
Check that the unit is not exposed to an excessive draft.•
The skin temperature display
doesnt show the infant’s skin tem-
perature accurately.
Check that the plug of the skin temperature probe is connected se-•
curely to the skin temperature probe connecting port.
Check that the heat-sensing portion of the skin temperature probe is •
attached properly to the infant’s abdominal wall.
Check that the heat-sensing portion of the skin temperature probe is •
covered completely with the Cover Baby.
The lighting lamp doesnt come
on.
Check that the light control switch is on.•
Check that the power cord is connected securely to the power outlet.•
Check the breaker of the hospital.•
