Set the ignition switch to “OFF” position. The specified fuse
tube of 15A should be used for main fuse replacement.
Open the left side cover, remove the fuse holder on the side of
the battery and replace the fuse tube.
If the new fuse tube is broken again as soon as it is fitted on, it
means that somewhere of the electric parts is shorted unex-
pectedly.
Caution
Do not use any fuse over 15A
Be sure not to wash the battery when washing the vehicle.
13. Side stand
A side stand is supplied with every motorcycle.
Warning
The stand is designed to support the WEIGHT of the MO-
TORCYCLE
ONLY. Do not sit astride the motorcycle using the
stand for support as this could cause structural failure to the
stand resulting in serious injury.
Warning
The motorcycle must ONLY be stood on its kickstand AFTER the
rider has dismounted.
Note*: Lower the stand with your right foot keeping the motorcy-
cle balanced and once lowered, rest the motorcycle on it.
Once the motorbike has been brought from its rest position on
the ground into vertical position, the driver has to raise the stand
from the lowered to the raised position with his left foot.
Warning
A safety sensor is fitted on the motorbike, which allows starting it
with the stand lowered and the gear in neutral.
