If the Room Controller is installed in a WebCTRL system, you can wire RS sensors to it.

RC642D 1-4 RS Standards
NOTE The RC642's internal sensor counts as an RS Standard on the Rnet. The RC642D's
internal sensor counts as an RS Pro on the Rnet.
To start up and troubleshoot the Room Controller, you can temporarily connect the
following items to its Local Access port:
• The BACview

• A laptop running Virtual BACview, an application that simulates the BACview

BACview is included with WebCTRL v4 or later.

Built-in control programs See Appendix C - Editing properties in built-in control
programs (page 86).
Custom control programs You must:
1. Create a BACview screen file in ViewBuilder.
2. Enter the screen file name in the Room Controller's
Properties
box in SiteBuilder.
3. Download the control program to the Room Controller.
NOTES
• Disconnect the BACview immediately after editing the properties. The BACview
connection heats up the Room Controller, affecting its temperature reading. The
recovery time depends on how long the BACview was connected.
• Room Controller does not support a BACview wired to its Rnet port.
