2 Installing Your Machine
This chapter is specifically targeted to the persons who are responsible for the
administration of the product. It is recommended that the administrator read this
chapter before installing the machine.
Minimum Configuration Requirements
To make the best use of the product, the following configuration is required:
To send e-mails from the product:
• TCP/IP network
• A SMTP server
To file document(s) via intranet
• FTP, FTPS, or CIFS protocol environment
• Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7,
Windows 8
To make copies:
• A network printer
