the set dillution threshold(s).

IMPORTANT: If not already present, the following should be installed to ensure
accurate measurement while the analyzer is in Dilution Mode:
Gaskets (P/N: 0024-1745) in all vents in the analyzer’s component door.
Vinyl Caps (P/N: 0005-4766) plugging vents where sensors are not present.
4.14 Sensor Protection / Dilution Mode
Sensor Protection / Dilution Mode allows the instrument to dillute the gas sample in order
to protect its sensors from over-ranging during combustion analysis.
Enabling Sensor Protection
Sensor Protection allows the PCA
®
400 to engage a second pump, diluting the sample (and
all measurements) with fresh air. A notication will alert the user that the dilution pump has
been engaged , as well as a second pump icon (
). Any print-outs / reports will also note
that the analyzer was diluting measurements during analysis.
f To enable Sensor Protection / Dilution Mode: Options ( ) Sensor Protection select
desired gases (CO, NO, NO
2
, SO
2
) and dillution threshold (50%, 75% or 100% of Sensor
Range) press Save ( )
