5.3.5.3 Stopping the gauging process
Press the pause button to halt the gauging process.
The "Change hoses" function can be used during the interval (cf. section
5.3.5.2).
CAUTION!
The pause function is only available until the minimum dipstick level is
reached. While the dead volume and pipe volume are being calculated,
the gauging process can only be stopped by pressing "STOP".
The gauging process can be stopped by pressing “STOP” (after the
prompt appears):
All the readings already taken will be saved, however. If the gauging pro-
cess is to be resumed after a stoppage, the chamber being measured
must be refilled until the float gauge is about 5 cm above the last measur-
ing point.
If a gauging file already exists, it will be overwritten from the next measur-
ing point onwards.
A graph which has not been finished (e.g. power failure) can therefore be
continued without carrying out an entirely new gauging process.
