C200 - Starting the engine

Engine with manual pre-greasing pump
b Check that the 3-way valve is in " pre-greasing" position
as indicated below.
b Pre-grease the engine using the manual oil draining pump,
with the engine switched off.

b Make sure the drive components are disengaged in Neutral
position.
b Check that the acceleration control is in "Idle" position.
b Start the engine with the fi ring key in "Start" position on the
control panel (see DT 11.G04) or via the cabinet of the
machine room (see option DT 11.G06), press the "START"
push button it the "Start" switch is in "ON" position.
b Once the engine has started, the speed stabilises at
700 rpm.
Never exceed an engine speed of 1,000rpm until engine
water temperature reaches 60°C.
