Replacing the water separator lter cartridge
- option (ref. 77 72 884 0V)
b Isolate the diesel valves, remove the lter cover (1), and
remove the lter cartridge.
b Clean the vat.
b Fit the new cartridge, t the cover (1) back
on the vat, carefully replacing the seals (2)
(ref. 77 72 884 1W).
b Open the diesel valves and bleed the lter.

Replacing the centrifugal lter cartridge
(ref. 15 04 901 0V)
b Unscrew the upper 17'' nut (5).
b Remove the bowl (1).
Warning: if the nut (4) comes unscrewed with the bowl, it
should be removed and retted to its holder during
reassembly (tighten to torque 20m.N)..
b Remove the cartridge (2) and the seal (3).
b Clean inside the bowl and the holder.
b Fit a new cartridge and replace the seal (3) provided with
the cartridge.
b Ret the bowl and tighten to a torque of 20Nm, so that it is
not distorted.
Do not use the fuel lter while the lever is in vertical
position as this position operates both cartridges at
the same time.
