3.1.1 Brief introductions of function
This player adopts brand new model with new generation DVD decode chip. With built-in Dolby
decoder and HDMI high definition decoder, vivid surround sound system, supporting 1080I high
definition format output, it brings you personal theater effect. It has features as follows:
Progressive scanning output to produce steadier and clearer pictures
5.1 CH output with optical, coaxial and HDMI output
HDMI high definition output with composite video, S video and component video output
Digital picture adjustment to the sharpness, brightness, contrast, chroma and saturation of
pictures, gamma correction
Karaoke Mix function
Frequency/amplitude digital tunning functions to memory FM/AM broadcasting stations 20 for
each
Power amplify adopts high performance large power IC with perfect protection function and
acoustic quality.
USB2.0 jack connects USB facility directly
3.1.2 Block diagram principle of player
This player is composed by decode&lify board, panel, MIC board, tuner, power board and
loader. As it is shown in figure 3.1.2.1, all other signal flow is shown except for power board. The main
function of loader is to read disc information and send it to MT1389 which finishes servo function
together with AM5888 on decode board and other aided circuits. Also it ensures normal working of
loader with other circuit. FLASH on decode board is to store system programme, while SDRAM is to
store programme when player is working and read acoustic image information from disc to ensure a
smooth output. Amplifier board is mainly to take audio DA switch, analog signal amplifying and output
5.1CH to ensure normal working of external speaker. AV board is mainly to output various of audio and
video signal. This player has external sound input, which can be amplified through amplify circuit of this
player to convenient output to speaker. AFM-203KF digital tuner enables player to have tunning function
