5.6 BATTERY
The M10 meter can be powered with a lithium battery pack, oering over 10 years of service (depending
on the configuration and the working conditions). The residual life is estimated by calculating the energy
usage over the instrument’s life, so when the battery pack is replaced, it is necessary to reset the battery
usage counter. Powering up the unit automatically takes the user to a selection screen (see “5.2 FIRST
ACTIVATION”).
NOTE: waking-up the unit frequently or entering very long power down timeouts can reduce the expected
battery life.
