CHAIN
Checking the drive chain periodically to
ensure longer chain life. Always keep it
lubricated and clean of deposited dirt.
Take special care in preventing the lubri-
cant from coming into contact with the
rear tyre or brake disc, otherwise the tyre
grip and the action of the brake would be
greatly reduced, making it very diffi cult to
control the vehicle.
CHECK AND ADJUST
TIGHTENING CHAIN
Position the vehicle on the central bike
stand.
If the distance between chain and
swingarm is less than 20 mm proceed
with adjustment.
Loosen the pin 1.
Rotate register 2 until the distance between
chain and swingarm is that recommended.
