3.3.8 Interpreter IDs
For identifying a device identification number (ID) should be assigned to each intepreter station. Basically, the system can be operated
without the organisation of ID numbers. But for special iCNS software and service monitoring functions the organisation of the IDs of the
interpreter stations is absolutely necessary for a smooth meeting. The ID number for an interpreter station consists of the booth ID and
device ID. In order to avoid conflicts each ID number can be assigned only once. For different booths you may assign the same device IDs.
For example:
Booth 1: MCS-D 202 (1) interpreter station = 01-0001, MCS-D 202 (2) interpreter station = 01-0002
Booth 2: MCS-D 202 (1) interpreter station = 02-0001, MCS-D 202 (2) interpreter station = 02-0002
