6. Microphone Units
For the MCS-D 200 system there is a variety of microphone stations available. Make sure that the microphone and all cables are tightly and
properly connected. If a cable is not properly connected, interferences can occur.
Safety Information
• Conference microphone stations with metal casings are heavy, so always position them on a secure surface.
• If you use earphones or headphones with the microphone station, please do not set the volume too high, it could permanently damage
your hearing.
6.1 Revoluto Microphone Units
The Revoluto MCS-D 3173/3171, MCS-D 3143/3141 and MCS-D 3123/3121 microphone units provide the patented Revoluto technology,
which allows a unique design without gooseneck microphone. Due to the redundant recording technology with several intelligently
arranged microphone capsules, a complete failure of the microphone unit is practically impossible. The corridor characteristic of the
microphone unit provides maximum freedom of movement for the speaker and a much wider zone within which he/she can speak without
affecting the recording volume.
All settings of the microphone stations are stored when the system is turned off. Standard settings can be reloaded via the MCS-D 200
control unit.
6.2 Microphone Units with Gooseneck Microphone
Regarding the operation the MCS-D 3073/3071, MCS-D 3043/3041 and MCS-D 3023/3021 microphone units provide the same design as
the Revoluto microphone units. Instead of the patented Revoluto technology, however, they provide a fold-away gooseneck microphone.
All settings of the microphone stations are stored when the system is turned off. Standard settings can be reloaded via the MCS-D 200
control unit.
MCS-D 3173/3171 and MCS-D 3073/3071
The microphone units provide an LC-display, one microphone button, five voting buttons and a two-way loudspeaker with two tweeters.
The up / down navigator buttons allow selecting the desired channel while the headphone volume is set by using the right / left navigator
buttons. In addition to this the MCS-D 3173/3073 chairman microphone unit provides one “Clear” and one “Priority” button.
MCS-D 3143/3141 and MCS-D 3043/3041
The microphone units provide an LC-display, one microphone button, three buttons for menu, entry and ESC as well as a two-way
loudspeaker with two tweeters. The up / down navigator buttons allow selecting the desired channel while the headphone volume is set by
using the right / left navigator buttons. In addition to this the MCS-D 3143/3043 chairman microphone unit provides one “Clear” and one
“Priority” button.
MCS-D 3123/3121 and MCS-D 3023/3021
The microphone units provide one microphone button and a two-way loudspeaker with two tweeters. In addition to this the
MCS-D 3123/3023 chairman microphone unit provides one “Clear” and one “Priority” button.
