2.4.2 Remote commands in the version for terminal with multiple scales
With the multiple scale terminal version, some remote commands change their syntax to indicate
what scale they refer to.
For example, to request the gross weight, the syntax is change as follows:
XBb<CR>
where b indicates the letter (A or B) of the scale in question.
For these commands, the syntax will be provided in brackets next to the standard command.
2.4.3 Response to incorrect command
??<CR><LF>
This response string is sent:
if the command syntax is not correct;
if the command cannot be carried out.
2.4.4 Response to correct command
If the command is accepted, and if it involves the transmission of information, the response will be
represented by sending the requested data; if not, the response will be represented by the following
string:
OK<CR><LF>
2.4.5 Suspending cyclical transmission
This command is not available with the RS485 protocol where transmission can only be on request
EX<CR>
2.4.6 Re-activating cyclical transmission
This command is not available with the RS485 protocol where transmission can only be on request
SX<CR>
2.4.7 Gross weight request
XB<CR> (XBb<CR>)
The terminal responds with the following string:
n<SP><um><SP>B<CR><LF>
n = 9 characters.
2.4.8 Net weight request
XN<CR> (XNb<CR>)
The terminal responds with the following string:
n<SP><um><SP>NT<CR><LF>
n = 9 characters.
