where
<O/A/U> O= weight exceeding the range, A= weight within the range, U= weight below the
range
2.6.7 Scale status transmission request

n = terminal number; n = 2 characters (par. 2.1 on page 7) The terminal responds with the following
string:
<STX><G/N><T/SP><um><M/S><O/SP><O/A/U><EOL>
where:
<G/N> G= gross weight, n= net weight
<T/SP> T= outside of minimum weighing operation
<M/S> M= weight in movement, S= stable weight
<O/SP> O= weight in overload
<O/A/U> O= weight exceeding the range, A= weight within the range, U= weight below the
range
2.6.8 Weight transmission request

n = terminal number; n = 2 characters. The terminal responds with one of the following strings:
<STX><SP>y<SP><um><EOL>
if the weight is positive
<STX><->y<SP><um><EOL>
if the weight is negative
where
y = value of the weight; y = 7 characters.
2.6.9 Product code transmission request
<SOH>nRT<CR> will send the active product code
<SOH>nRTy<CR> will make the specified product code active, along with the associated data
n = terminal number; n = 2 characters
y = product code; y = 3 characters
The terminal responds with one of the following strings:
<STX><T>y<EOL>
<*><EOL>
where
y = product code; n = 3 characters.
