3 CUSTOMISATION
3.1 Foreword
WARNING
The customisation procedures are strictly reserved for specialised staff.
Nonetheless, the user is allowed to change some of the terminal operating parameters.
It is nevertheless advisable to take great care in changing these parameters to prevent faulty
operation due to incorrect settings.
The parameters are strictly based on the program entered in the instrument.
3.2 Entering parameter configuration
To access customisation of non metrological parameters only:
press at start-up.
3.3 Language
When you enter setup you can select the language that you wish to view the menu in.
When you have selected the language for the setup menu, the following are displayed for a few seconds:
program code
version
instrument serial number (if it is any number other than zero, it is the same as the s/n (serial
number) on the stamped plate.
3.4 Setup Menu
The customisation parameters menu has a tree structure that can be browsed from the roots to the
leaves to view the navigation keys, whose meanings are explained in the Using the Terminal chapter in
the user manual.
3.4.1 Conditional Menu
When the parameters are being customised the menu adapts by creating conditions for choices
thereafter. Accordingly, some parameters are not illustrated as they are not necessary in that given
configuration.
3.4.2 Entering numerical data
Refer to the Using the Terminal chapter in the user manual.
3.4.3 Entering alphanumerical data
