Making efficient use of
the ePOWER gauge
Energy recovery and energy con-
sumption depend on your style
of riding. Make good use of the
power gauge to optimise your
style of riding.
Energy recovery takes place
when the vehicle decelerates
(not in SAIL mode) and brakes
and is indicated in the CHARGE
part 1 of the drive gauge. En-
ergy consumption on the move
can be optimised by efficient
acceleration and is indicated in
the ePOWER part 2 of the drive
gauge.
Each part consists of 10 seg-
ments, and there are four pos-
sible states for each of the two
parts:
Segment not available (seg-
ments have red background)
Segment activated (segments
have blue background)
Segment restricted (segments
have grey background)
Segment not activated (blank)
Setting riding mode
Switch on operational readi-
ness ( 38).
