l Unscrew the filter cartridge (1) (Fig. 96) using
an appropriate filter wrench.
l Clean the sealing face on the filter carrier from
any dirt.

l Slightly oil the rubber seal on the new filter car-
tridge (Fig. 97).
l Turn the new filter cartridge on by hand, until
the seal contacts.
l Tighten the filter element for another half turn.

l Fill in new engine oil (Fig. 98).
l Tighten the oil filler cap properly.

l After a short test run check the oil level once
again (Fig. 99), if necessary top up to the top
mark (MAX).
