Answer - Since this cable is industry standard category-5 Ethernet cable, the length is limited
to 100 metres. Bosch Security Systems recommends that you do not exceed this cable length.
If a longer cable run is needed, then Ethernet extenders should be used to increase the
distance.
For a UL compliant installation, the following installation guidelines must be followed.
The controller must be installed in the same room as the network jack or hub.
Note: UL listed and/or recognized wire must be used for cabling and wire suitable for the
application.
