AEC2.1 only supports US Robotics dial-in Modems. For other brands of modem, refer to dial-
in protocol section to check modem compatibility.
3. Connect cable from the 9-volt transformer supplied with the modem into the connector
on the back of the modem. Leave the modem powered off at this time.
