5. Configure your modem by selecting the General tab and setting available option, as
appropriate. Select the communications port and accept the maximum speed default
setting.
6. After configuring your modem, click the button and continue with the Make
New Connection dialog box as shown below. Enter the controller's area code and phone
number. Select your country or region code.
