Tip:You can use the steaming insert
as a sieve, e.g. for cooking pasta.
14.1 Using the steaming in-
sert
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam will escape from the appli-
ance.

Do not lean over the appliance.
▶
Open the lid carefully.
▶
Only remove the steaming insert
with the spatula.
1. Open the lid completely.
2. Add liquid to the pot at least up to
the marking.
The marking corresponds to
800ml water.
3. Place the steaming insert in the
pot.
4. Add the food to the steaming in-
sert.
Do not fill the steaming insert bey-
ond the marking.
5. Close and lock the lid.
Tip:You can also use the steaming
attachment to steam food on up to 3
levels at the same time. →Page112

Never use alcohol when steaming.
1. Remove the lid completely.
2. Add liquid to the pot at least up to

3. Place the steaming attachment on
the pot.
4. Place the ingredients in the steam-
ing attachment.
To steam more ingredients on an
additional level, place the steaming
tray on the steaming attachment.
Do not fill the steaming attachment
beyond the marking.
5. Close the lid on the steaming at-
tachment.
