2 Power Unit LTH
2.2 System Description
Power unit LTH is a frequency converter for EC motors. By means of the built-in intermediate voltage cir-
cuit/frequency converter, a rotary field for EC motors is generated which is variable in power and frequen-
cy.
The isolation transformer in the LTH power unit electrically isolates the power tool system from the power
line. Temperature sensors in the power tool motor winding and on the heat sink of the power unit prevent
possible damage caused by overloading.
The insertion and programming of an optional current control board allows the power unit to operate as
an independent power tool system.
The integrated interfaces X2, X7 and X8 allow the connection to an external power tool control (e.g.
SE200).
