9.2.8 To Poke a Single Actuator
Note that this command has no effect if the current and adjacent actuators
have the same value.
1. Click to select an actuator.
2. Poke the next actuator in one of the following ways:
• To poke the actuator one higher in number, on the Toolbar click Poke Next.
• To poke the actuator one lower in number, on the Toolbar click Poke Previous.
The following occurs:
• The value of the actuator originally selected is applied to
the adjacent (either higher or lower) actuator.
o If the lowest numbered actuator (0) was the selected actuator,
the Poke Previous operation will wrap to the highest numbered actuator.
o If the highest numbered actuator was the selected actuator,
the Poke Next operation will wrap to the lowest numbered actuator.
• The value of all other actuators may change depending upon
the starting state as follows:
o If the actuators have been set to a single value by the piston or by the Zero
button, with or without any individual actuator values manually changed,
after the poke all other actuators, including the previously selected one and any
that had been changed from the Piston or Zero value, are returned to the Piston
value.
o If a Command Map has been applied, with or without any individual actuator
values manually changed, after the poke all other actuators including the
previously selected one are set to the current Piston value (0.25).
• The poked actuator becomes the current selection.
• In the Status Bar the Poke Actuator and Poke Value are not updated.
As this command changes the value of an actuator to the value of an adjacent
actuator, it has no effect on that actuator if the adjacent actuator had the same value.
It may however change the values of the original and other actuators.
