Operate the lift in the manual mode down and up 2 or 3 cycles to distribute the oil
5.3 Filter Maintenance
Filter bags are industry standard RBX-1 size (Trade size 3). Bags are available from the Branson
Parts Department : 1 877-330-0406 ext 2065. Replacement 5mic Bag Filter CPN-163-018, other
sizes are also available.
Clean filter bags when the recirculation flow is reduced or when the bag becomes 1/3 full of soil.
Replace filter bags if the fabric is damaged or if the pores become clogged with waxes.
To clean the filter:
Turn off “Recirculation”
Close both the supply and return recirculation ball valves.
Unfasten and remove the canister cover clamp.

Slowly remove the bag from the housing. The canister is full of solvent. Allow solvent to
drain back to the canister while removing the bag.
Suspend the bag in the freeboard area of the degreaser until all dripping stops.
Empty the bag. Dispose of the soils in accordance with local regulations.
Insert the bag into the housing.
Replace the cover and install the clamp.
Note: Do not over-tighten the clamp. Over-tightening may cause the cover to become misaligned
and leak.
Open the supply and return ball valves.
Turn on recirculation and readjust the flow.
5.4 Draining Water From Water Separator
To use the separator/desiccator as a separator, do not install the desiccator bag.
At least once each day, open the water separator water drain and collect the discharge into a
container. When the flow stops, close the drain. The discharge will contain some dissolved or
suspended solvent. Dispose of this residue in accordance with local regulations.
