3.16.13.2 LS1 Immersion Limit
Adjust the Immersion Limit Switch so that it is on when the lift is at the bottom of its
stroke. The normal position is with the basket resting on or slightly above the tank
bottom.
3.16.13.3 LS2 Vapor Dwell
Adjust the Vapor Dwell switch so that the parts are just below the top of the vapor zone.
This normally will be about 1 to 2 inches below the center of the condensing coil.
3.16.13.4 LS3 Freeboard Dwell
Adjust the Freeboard Dwell switch so that the parts are clear of the vapor zone by at least
2 inches.
3.16.13.5 LS4 Load/Unload
Adjust the Load/Unload switch so that it is on when the lift is at the top of its stroke.
3.16.13.6 LS5 Boil Sump Limit
Adjust the Boil Sump Limit Switch so that it is on when the horizontal air cylinder is at
the end of its stroke on the Boil Sump side.
3.16.13.7 LS5 Ultrasonic Sump Limit
Adjust the Ultrasonic Sump Limit Switch so that it is on when the horizontal air cylinder
is at the end of its stroke on the Ultrasonic Sump side.
3.16.13.8 LS7 Cover Limit
Adjust the Cover Limit switch so that it is on when the cover is fully open. The switch
must be off if the cover is in a position to interfere with the basket.
3.17 Power Cover Adjustments
There are no position or closing force adjustments. Closing force is controlled by the closing
spring.
3.17.1 Pressure Regulator Adjustment
Adjust the pressure regulator to 90 psig.
3.17.2 Open Speed Control
Adjust the Open Speed Control flow valve so that the cover opens rapidly but does not
separate from the driver at the end of the stroke.
3.17.3 Close Speed Control
Adjust the Close Speed Control flow valve so that the cover stays in contact with the driver
during the entire stroke.
3.18 Spray Manifold Adjustments
3.18.1 Spray Nozzle Location
The nozzles may be installed over either the boil sump or the ultrasonic sump. Exchange the
nozzles and plugs to change locations.
