The following symbols and signal words are used in this documentation.
The combination of a pictograph and a signal word classifies the respective
safety information. The symbol can vary depending on the type of danger.
Symbol Signal word Description
Death
DANGER This signal word must be used if
death or irreversible damage to
health can occur if the hazard
information is not followed.
Risk of injury and
property damage
WARNING This signal word indicates bodily
injuries and property damage
including injuries, accidents, and
health risks.
CAUTION This signal word indicates a risk of
property damage. In addition, there is
a slight risk of injuries.
