In addition, there is a separate compartment underneath the unit where you can place
devices, such as a set-top box or a satellite receiver, without changing the appearance
of the system. The front of the compartment is made of a special glass, which does not
affect infrared signals. As a result, a device stored here can be controlled through the
glass via its remote control without any problems.

Note: The compartment is held shut by magnets.
