Smart key warning light
• If the key is not in the vehicle when
the Start/Stop button is pressed, the
warning light will light up for a few
seconds, a beep will be heard, and
a "No key detected, please check
whether the key is in the car" message
will be displayed on the cluster.
• If an electronic smart key matching the
model is in the vehicle and the Start/
Stop button is pressed, this warning
light will not light up and the vehicle
can be powered on.
•
If the warning light 󽗊ashes when
the Start/Stop button is pressed, it
indicates low battery of the key.
• If the key is not in the vehicle, the
instrument cluster prompts "No key
detected, please check whether the
key is in the car".
ABS fault warning light
• When the ignition switch is on OK,
this warning light turns on. If the ABS
(anti-lock braking system) is working
properly, the light goes o󽗈 in a few
seconds. Thereafter, if the system fails,
the light lights up again until the fault
is cleared.
• When the ABS fault warning light is on
(with the parking system fault warning
light o󽗈), the braking system continues
to operate whereas the ABS does not.
• When the ABS fault warning light is on
(with the parking system fault warning
light o󽗈), since the anti-lock braking
system does not operate, the wheels
will be locked in case of emergency
braking or braking on a slippery road.
• If any of the following cases occurs, it
means there is a fault in components
monitored by the warning light system.
In that case, contact a BYD authorized
dealer or service provider for vehicle
inspection as soon as possible.
•
When the ignition switch is on OK,
this warning light does not turn on or
is steady on.
•This warning light goes on during
driving.
