REMINDER
A warning light that lights up
brie󽗊y during operation does not
indicate that there is a problem.
If the parking brake system
warning light and the ABS
warnings light up at the same
time, immediately stop the
vehicle safely and contact a
BYD authorized dealer or service
provider. In this case, when the
brake is applied, not only will the
anti-lock braking system fail to
work, but the car will also become
extremely unstable.
If both ABS indicator and the braking
system indicator are on and the
electronic parking brake (EPB) is fully
released, the braking force distribution
system of front and rear wheels has
also failed.
Tire pressure fault warning light
When the ignition switch is on OK,
this warning light turns on. It turns o󽗈
in a few seconds if the tire pressure
monitoring system is working properly.
If the system fails, this warning light
turns on again.
When the tire pressure fault warning
light lights up or 󽗊ashes, the
information display on the instrument
cluster reads "Please check the tire
pressure monitoring system" and the
tire pressure is displayed as "---" on
the screen, it indicates that the tire
pressure system is faulty.
When the tire pressure value displays
"Abnormal Signal", it indicates that
the tire pressure signal at the location
of the vehicle may be disturbed or
the tire pressure monitoring module is
damaged.
When the tire pressure fault warning
light 󽗊ashes rapidly, and one or more
values turn red in the tire pressure
page on the instrument cluster
information display, the corresponding
tire is leaking rapidly.
When the tire pressure fault warning
light is constantly on and one or
more values turn yellow in the
tire pressure display page on the
instrument cluster, the corresponding
tire is in under-pressure condition.
When the temperature value of one
or more tires turns yellow, it indicates
that the tire temperature is too high.
In the event of any of the situations
above, it is recommended to contact a
BYD authorized dealer or service provider
for inspection as soon as possible.
ESC fault warning light
When the ignition switch is on OK, this
warning light turns on. If electronic
stability controller (ESC) is functioning
properly, this warning light turns o󽗈
after a few seconds. If the system fails,
this warning light turns on again until
the system fault is cleared.
If the ESC warning light 󽗊ashes
temporarily while the vehicle is in
motion, it indicates the ESC system is
working.
When the ESC warning light turns on
(with the ABS fault warning light and
the parking system fault warning light
o󽗈), the ESC fails, but the ABS and
the braking system continue to operate
normally.
When the ESC warning light turns on
(with the ABS fault warning light and
the parking system fault warning light
o󽗈), the ESC system does not work.
This means the vehicle is extremely
unstable at sharp turns or when the
driver steers away from obstacles
ahead.
If any of the following cases occurs, it
means there is a fault in components
