Gear Shift Controls
●
The gear position of the gear actuator
is marked on the gearshift lever as
shown.
●
"P": Parking. Press this button to
park the vehicle. The transmission
should be set to this position when
the vehicle is being shut down or
started up. To start the vehicle, turn
the ignition on. Press the brake
pedal to switch from "P" to another
position.
CAUTION
●
To prevent damaging the
transmission, press the "P"
button only after the vehicle has
completely stopped.
●
Press the "UNLOCK" button to
shift out of "P" or to "R".
●
"R": Reverse, used only when the
vehicle has come to a complete stop.
●
"N": Neutral, used for temporary
stop.
Shift to "P" before long-term parking.
●
"D": Drive. Shift to "D" to drive the
vehicle normally.
●
If the shift is successful, the lever
returns to its middle position after it is
released.
●
If the driver's door opens while the
car is moving ≤ 3 km/h in a "D" / "R"
gear state, the gear will automatically
switch to "P".
●
When starting the vehicle, turn the
ignition on and shift into "D" or "R"
gear to link the EPB system.
●
Any unreasonable gear shifting may
damage the powertrain. Gear shifting
