Anti-theft Alarm
System*
Anti-theft Alarm System*
When armed, the system sounds an alarm
and triggers turn signal 󽗊ashes when any
door is opened.
Arming the system
1. Switch the ignition o󽗈.
2. All occupants get o󽗈 the vehicle.
3. Lock all doors. This makes the
anti-theft indicator steady on. The
anti-theft alarm system will arm
automatically in 10 seconds, and the
anti-theft indicator will then begin to
󽗊ash.
4. You can leave the vehicle after
con󽗉rming that the indicator begins to
󽗊ash. Since unlocking the door from
inside the vehicle will activate the
system, never let anyone stay in the
vehicle with the system enabled.
Anti-theft yaw rate sensor*
When the anti-theft alarm system is
armed, if the sensor detects that
wheels are lifted o󽗈 the ground
or there's a sudden change in
acceleration as someone tries to steal
or tow the vehicle, an alarm* sounds
and lights come on.
When carrying the vehicle on a ferry
or train, the vehicle enters transport
mode and the anti-theft yaw rate
sensor does not trigger an alarm.
In-cabin motion detection*
When the anti-theft alarm system is
armed, if the system detects any
unauthorized entry into the vehicle,
it will sound the alarm and 󽗊ash the
lights as a warning.
Enable or disable the function in
the infotainment touchscreen →
VehicleCabin Perception. By
default, the system is enabled when
the vehicle is powered on.
Triggering the alarm
The system will raise an audible and
visual alarm in any of the following
situations:
Any door, trunk lid or hood is
unlocked without using the smart
key access function.
The low-voltage battery power
supply has been cut o󽗈.
The START/STOP button has been
pressed with no valid key in the
vehicle.
