10.5.1 Swivel toilet
The flushing of the Thetford toilet is fed directly from the water system of the
vehicle. The toilet bowl can be moved into the optimal position.

The operating unit is located close to the toilet bowl.
Before flushing open the sliding trap of the Thetford toilet. To do this,
push the slide lever (Fig. 81,1) in an anticlockwise direction.
For flushing, press the blue flush button (Fig. 82,1).
After flushing close the sliding trap. To do this, push the slide lever in a
clockwise direction.
The indicator lamp (Fig. 82,2) lights up whenever the sewage tank has to be
emptied.
10.5.2 Emptying the sewage tank
The sewage tank can only be taken out if the sliding trap is closed.

Slide the slide lever on the toilet bowl in a clockwise direction. The sli-
ding trap is closed.
Open the flap for the sewage tank on the outside of the vehicle. Insert
the key into the locking cylinder (Fig. 83,1) of the push-button lock and
turn a quarter turn in a clockwise direction.
Remove the key.
