Why and When to Verify Contacts
CardScan scans and processes contact information very accurately. However,
you should verify your contacts because certain inaccuracies can impair many
useful functions.
You can verify contact information at your convenience. As needed, CardScan
reminds you about unverified contacts; for example:
Displays warnings when unverified contacts may cause problems.
Marks unverified contacts in List view with question marks.
When sorting lists by unverified contacts, moves all unverified contacts to
the top of the list.
Features That Make Verifying Simple
The features for verifying contact information are:
Edit view
Check Details of Names and Addresses
Using Edit View
Use Edit view to compare text in the fields with the image of the business card.
To display Edit view, click the button or double-click a contact in List
view.
To switch to Edit view from Summary view, click on any blank space in
the contact summary or choose View
Edit.
